Who I Am
"Hello! I'm Jazzmine Malumphy, the doula behind Heart of the Doula Maternal Services. I offer support during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. I am a Certified Full Spectrum Doula meaning that I am trained in Fertility, Birth and Postpartum Support through Bebo Mia. I Have been passionate about all things pregnancy and birth for as long as I can remember and studying anything I could get my hands on but it was after the birth of my son in Winter of 2016 that I really felt the pull to birth work fulltime. I promise to ensure the most empowering and informative care as your Doula making sure that you have the birth that you imagine. I can't wait to work with you! -Jazzmine
I feel honored to be able to share my expertise with women and families around The Greater Sacramento. I approach birth holistically. As well as physical support during labor, my role is also to act as an advocate for the birthing woman and her family. Contact me to find out more.

"At first I was hesitant to go with a Doula (I didn’t completely understand their role) for the birth of my daughter, I didn’t with my first two children. However, my heart was invested in having a Doula with my last baby. I am so glad I did. Jazzmine at The Heart of the Doula exceeded anything I could have ever hoped for. She made bringing my sweet baby earth side such a beautiful and magical moment. She made me feel so empowered, so connected to my body and my daughter. Normally that’s where it ends. You part ways after the baby is born, successfully nurses and all is well. Not this time, she checked on us postpartum, I can’t express the volumes that spoke. How much, I needed that! Not just baby girl, she checked on ME. Everyone asks how the baby is doing but Jazzmine made sure that I was doing okay, that I was important as well.
